ABOUT US
Dylan Hartley Building & Restoration was founded in 1995. In recent years Dylan’s wife, Christine, joined the family business. She continues to work and train with Dylan on various building and construction projects introducing natural building to their repertoire, realising a mutual desire to work towards creating a natural, healthy and sustainable environment for their clients.

"We do not like the way the industry is being dominated by imported, chemically saturated materials and prefer a more natural, traditional and healthy way to work and live."

Christine brings her business management and finance skills from 30 years as an independent financial advisor and Dylan contributes the technical expertise and craftsmanship from over 35 years in the industry. He is an extraordinary master builder, having started his career teaching craft in the 1970s before moving to building and restoration in 1985. Over the past 25 years he has owned and directed several successful building and restoration companies.

Dylan and Christine have both trained at Ty-Mawr in Brecon Wales, an ecological building material training centre and supplier.
